Max Stick is second-year PhD student at McMaster University and he completed his Master's at Dalhousie University. His Master's thesis examines contemporary perceptions and expressions of masculinity among Canadian male athletes. He is interested in how definitions of manhood contribute to sexism, racism, violence, homophobia, and other destructive social phenomena.
