Kirstie Smith completed her MA in Sociology at Dalhousie University. Her research was focused on Atlantic Canadians' attitudes towards cultural difference.
Kirstie's work focused on busting the stereotype of Atlantic Canada being unwelcome to outsiders, averse to change, and stuck in their ways. This project was completed using ARDC confidential Statistics Canada data. She also used this data in the completion of her thesis. |
