Jo Minx is studying sociology at Dalhousie University. His research focuses on the societal effects of Artificial Intelligence (AI). In particular by understanding how AI will affect the economic, educational and political landscapes in Canada.

Currently, Jo is working on his Master's thesis, which examines the students perceptions of the role of education and university degree/programs in an AI economy, and how their perceptions affect their educational choices.
